Dear Authors and Readers by Olya Glantsman

Dear Authors and Readers,

We are proud to bring you the May 2024 issue of the Global Journal of Community Psychology Practice (GJCPP). We extend our sincerest apologies for the delay in publishing the latest edition of our journal. Sometimes, despite our best efforts, unforeseen circumstances arise that disrupt our usual timelines. However, we are immensely grateful for your patience and understanding during this time. Your support means the world to us, and we truly appreciate your grace in this matter.

We would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to all the authors who have contributed their exceptional work to this edition. Your dedication and talent enrich our publication, and we are honored to showcase your multicultural contributions. In this issue you will find innovative approaches to mental health using surf therapy for emergency responders and healthcare workers, as well as gratitude journaling to mitigate stress, anxiety, and depression in the COVID-19 pandemic era. Furthermore, don’t miss the articles exploring collective healing utilizing theater as a “weapon for liberation” to create fundamental social change and calls for self reflection and action for a more just society.

Thank you, once again, for your unwavering support and understanding. We are committed to delivering high-quality content, and we assure you that we are working diligently to ensure a smoother publishing process in the future.

Warm regards,

Olya Glantsman
